Privacy policy

CrispSum is designed to work without an account. This policy explains what the current static site does, what a hosting provider may process, and what will change if advertising is enabled.

Local tool data

Inventory items, checklist entries, and tracker dates are stored in your browser using local storage. They are not uploaded to a CrispSum database. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing devices may remove them.

When the same browser contains compatible household records from an earlier version on this domain, CrispSum copies them to its current local storage keys so the update does not hide those records. Existing current-version records take priority, and the migration does not send data off the device.

Server and hosting logs

The hosting provider may process request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps for security and delivery. CrispSum does not currently operate a separate user account database.

Google advertising cookies

No advertising display script is included in the current build. If Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this or other websites.

Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve personalized ads. Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Other vendors will be listed here before their technology is activated.

Consent before advertising

Before serving ads where consent is legally required, CrispSum must deploy an appropriate consent-management mechanism and update this policy to match the vendors and processing actually in use.

Your choices

You can delete records inside the tools or clear this site's storage through your browser. Export important records before clearing them. Browser privacy settings can also restrict cookies and site storage.
